Privacy & Analytics

Optional website analytics remains off until you choose Allow analytics. While your choice is unknown, after you choose Not now, or when your browser sends Do Not Track, MoonArq does not create analytics identifiers, read analytics attribution storage, or send website analytics events.

You can reopen Analytics settings from the lower-right corner of an ordinary MoonArq page. Turning analytics off stops new optional measurement and reloads the page to stop analytics scripts already loaded in that document.

If you allow analytics, MoonArq's first-party Website Tracker may record a random pseudonymous browser ID, a per-tab session ID, event and receipt times, sanitized page paths and referrers, coarse device and viewport categories, selected currency, and approved storefront actions such as product views, add to cart, Build Your Own completion, and checkout start.

Supported campaign context can include UTM values and advertising click identifiers such as fbclid, gclid, or ttclid. Complete query strings, URL fragments, form values, authenticated account identity, Email, phone number, customer name, shipping address, and raw browser user-agent strings are not included in this first-party event contract.

The receiving Data Hub may transiently use the request network address for ingestion rate limits and stores only a server-keyed one-way HMAC of that address with the event. The raw network address is not stored in the Website event table or included in dashboard responses.

With the same permission, MoonArq may load Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights to understand page use and technical performance. Those providers may process device, browser, network, and interaction information under their own terms. MoonArq does not load these optional providers before your grant, and stops application-sent GA4 events immediately when consent is no longer granted.

If you allow analytics and begin checkout, MoonArq may place the random checkout-event UUID on the Shopify Draft Order. For a Build Your Own bracelet, it may also place a random bracelet-instance UUID on the related line. These values connect an approved website checkout action to the resulting Shopify order; they are not an Email address, customer ID, cookie, or advertising profile.

Data Hub converts the approved linkage values to one-way SHA-256 hashes and excludes the raw UUIDs and arbitrary Shopify attributes from its commerce fact tables and reporting responses. Shopify remains the authority for orders, payments, refunds, and revenue. Historical orders are never guessed into the linked funnel using Email, IP address, customer details, or time proximity.

MoonArq's Data Hub currently retains accepted Website analytics records as source evidence and has not yet implemented a fixed automatic deletion schedule. The records are access-controlled and used to operate and reconcile measurement, investigate data-quality or security issues, and support required records. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement but does not automatically delete records already collected with permission.

To ask about access, correction, or deletion, contact support@moonarqstudio.com. Include enough information for MoonArq to understand the request, but do not send passwords, payment-card details, or analytics identifiers.

Analytics consent does not subscribe you to promotional Email. Email marketing requires its own explicit checkbox and can be withdrawn independently. Essential checkout, account, fraud-prevention, order, shipping, support, and security processing may still occur when needed to provide a service you request.
